Loading...A boy enters a barbershop and the barber whispers to his customer, “This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch and I’ll prove it to you.”
The barber holds a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls the boy over and asks, “Which do you want, son?”
The boy takes the quarters and leaves.
“What did I tell you?” says the barber. “That kid never learns!”
Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same boy coming out of the ice cream store. “Hey, son! Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?”
The boy licks his cone and replies, “Because the day I take the dollar, the game is over!”

The boy pretends to be the dumbest person in the world, so he can get free money. The day he picks the dollar bill, the barber will know that he learned, and will never offer him free money ever again.
As long as he goes along with it, the boy gets money. When the boy takes the $5 the barber will stop the joke. It’s basically saying the kid isn’t as dumb as the barber thinks.
He is basically saying that once he takes the dollar bill the man barber will know he is smart and stop testing him, so the man clearly does that trick to the boy alot and every time he does it the boy gets two quarters. Do you get it know?
Reason why the boy took quarter was if he took a dollar they will not ask the same question again as they think if he takes dollar he is not dumb

because the day he takes the dollar, the barber will stop calling him and giving him money and if he keeps taking the quarter the barber will keep calling him and keep giving him money every time
