Jed’s first camping experience.

It was the first camping experience for Jed.  After tents were pitched, he and a buddy went for a hike in the woods.  In about 15 minutes, the boys rushed back into camp. Jed was bleeding and dirty.  “What happened? ” asked a fellow camper.  “I was chased by a black snake!” Jed said.  The camper laughed and retorted, “A black snake won’t hurt you.”  Jed’s buddy said: “If it makes you jump off a 50-foot cliff, it will!”
