O is a type of blood. Typo (which is pronounced the same as “type-O”) is short for typographical error. Rabbit might be a typo for rabbi, as jokes with a priest and a minister are usually accompanied by a rabbi. Therefore, there is a double meaning where the rabbit is either describing its own blood type or saying that the word rabbi was spelled wrong as “rabbit” in the joke.
That’s why this is funny.
